PhotoShelter integrates so well into your site. Looks great! I wonder if PS is compatible with Flash.

Thanks Richard. There would be no need to use Flash with PS, since the only part of a site that is customized with PS is the galleries. You certainly could use Flash for the rest of your site, but I wouldn’t recommend it. I get so frustrated when I visit Flash sites, I usually move on. Most often, they are slow loaders and I know that photo buyers being the busy people they are (not that we aren’t), don’t want to wait either!

Yeah I agree, for specialized uses Flash is really effective but not for most photographers needs. It could be kinda cool though to push the limits of PS to see what can be accomplished as far as customization. At the school I went to, most of the photographers there use a flash site (most of which were not even flashy) which is so irritating because it takes over a minute or some never load completely at all. For those people I’d recommend sticking with the print portfolio if they insist on keeping such a sluggish site.

Are you going to the PhotoShelter Photography 2.0 event next month in San Francisco? I signed up for the Orange County one.

I can’t make the PS event in SF. That’s great that you are attending the one in OC. I can’t wait to hear about it. It will make good blogging material!
