Here is another one from our Eastern Sierra Adventure this past October. When Jeff & I travel this route, we always stop at this rest area for a break & hopefully for photos. This time, we timed it just right.
Many professionals would shoot this with a tripod and use a slow shutter speed to blur the water…but I was wanting something different. I opted for a fast shutter speed, thus giving more detail in the water.

That’s amazing – The shot is like from one of those beautiful computer wallpapers and picture frames from a local gift store. I wish I was as good at taking pictures – I’ve seen lots of beautiful scenery but I always fail to capture their beauty with my camera
