Sherri Relaxing Along Canyon Creek

Sherri taking time out from her job, Canyon Creek, Lake Faucherie, CA
Most often, there aren't many photos taken of the one taking the photos! But, thanks to my husband Jeff, he made sure that I was actually on this trip too.
Part of what I love so much about my job, is that I get to "wear many hats!" I get to be the photographer, the model, the teacher, the researcher, the planner, the editor, the writer and the list goes on. But, unfortunately, the percentage of time behind the camera is far less than the time spent in the office - for now anyway. Changes are coming in the near future!
Yeah I can totally relate to the production stuff. Before I started doing the stock agency stuff and working heavily on the website, I used to go shoot more often than I do now because I wasn’t sitting behidn the computer processing images all day. Then now if I take keepers I’m immediately dreading how much time it’ll take to clean the images up. Hopefully if the money starts coming in faster then it’ll allow for more freedom to do things I enjoy but somehow I doubt that. It’ll probably just have to become a lifestyle choice more than a luxury.
I guess shooting “keepers” is both a blessing and a curse! We are leaving for Oregon soon. I was hoping to return with a lot of “keepers,” but maybe I’ll have to rethink that one. Just kidding of course!
