I’d Rather Be Kayaking
Peg Challender relaxing on Lake Clementine, Auburn, California
In the post Pardon Our Dust I wrote a few days ago, I mentioned that we were in the midst of a huge project involving our Webite. At first glance, our Website looks the same as it did. But, if you go to our galleries, you will notice that our images are now on our own server, not PhotoShelter's.
Had we known how time and labor intensive this project would be, we may have taken another route. But, now, we are nearly done and we are very happy with the results. We still have some massaging to do, before we can safely say we're done. But, we should have that completed in a few more days.
We are looking forward to a little kayaking and hiking really soon!

A very cohesive flow to the website Sherri. I’d recommend changing the title tags so it doesn’t say Lightbox Photo gallery software on every page though. Looks like you have been busy.
Thank you Richard. We do plan to eliminate “Lightbox Photo Gallery Software” from all the pages. But, that involves an upgrade, which we will be doing very soon.
Hi Sherri,
Looks great, although I would rather being kayaking as well – especially on a nice sunny day like that one!
We also use Lightboxphoto and have been happy with it.
Good luck,
Ron
Hi Ron,
Thank you for your feedback regarding our galleries.
Yeah, I wish we could have gone kayaking last week. It was over 100 degrees here, for several days in a row. Now we are having weather in the high 70’s, which is almost too cold to paddle!
Thanks again,
Sherri
