Historic Auburn Courthouse in the Snow
photo of the Historic Auburn Courthouse & Museum in the snow is a rare opportunity. In fact, this was only the second time I have had the opportunity to capture it in the snow. There was a lot more snow this time and my photos are much better. That said, I've decided to replace the images which are currently in our Auburn Gallery, with new images from the storm last month.
The Auburn Courthouse (which was completed in 1898) is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It also contains a museum and gift shop, which are open to the public free of charge.
If you love the California Gold County, Auburn, History and Architecture, you owe it to yourself to visit the Historic Auburn Courthouse (Placer County Courthouse), one of Northern California's most beautiful buildings.
Location: Placer County Museum, 101 Maple Street, Auburn, California.

My grandma’s museum’s still in there 😀
Mary – thank you for leaving your comment. Your Grandma started the museum in the Auburn Courthouse? Wow. I also have a baby crib that I (as well as several of my cousins) slept in that is displayed in that museum.
