Digital art photo of Palm trees on the Panorama Bluffs, Bakersfield, CA.

This digital art photo is created from the same photo I posted yesterday. I liked the original photo so much, I wanted to see what other versions of it I could come up with, by doing a little experimenting in PhotoShop. I'd love to hear your comments regarding this photo. Does it work for you? Do you like the photo I posted yesterday better? Do you like them both equally, but for different reasons? Do you dislike them both? Would you like to know how this photo was created? To leave a comment, just click on "be the first to comment" or "comment" below this post.

It’s amazing how this technique makes the photo look like a totally different photo, or at least from a different angle. (ie looks like mountains in the background).

Thanks partner! I was amazed too, that the clouds turned into mountains, when I used this technique. I’m going to experiment a little more with this photo.

I’m partial to straight photography, but if I were inclined, I think what makes this one kinda weird for me is the posterization in the upper half of the sky. the trees are classic though.

Thank you once again for your valued opinion Richard. I think most people prefer straight photography, including me. But it’s fun to depart from the norm every now and then.
