There are so many things we could do today to celebrate Father's Day. But, most likely it will be spent at home listening to the live broadcast of the annual Father's Day Bluegrass Festival in Grass Valley on KVMR, our local radio station.
Oh, I forgot to mention that Jeff is not really a Father. We only have a dog. But, that's a good enough excuse to take the day off anyway, for a little rest and relaxation.

Nice very Sherri. I think Father’s Day should be extended to all adult men over age 35. 🙂 Sounds like fun with the Grass Valley. Is that something that you could shoot?
Thanks Richard. We attended the festival for many years. Now, we just stay home and listen to it on the radio. Not really something I would photograph as stock, just for fun.
How was your trip up the coast?
the trip was good. now that I’m back home, I wished it had been longer but gas is sure expensive! Even more so up north. I paid $4.79 for 87 gas in Eureka! Though in a few months, I’m sure that will be considered cheap… 😮
I’m sure you came home with thousands of images! Did you get any of the Lost Coast area?
Yeah, we figure by the 4th of July, our gas will probably hit $5.00/gal. They always jack it way up right before a holiday. This gas thing is getting way too crazy. Before long, people won’t be able to afford to drive to work to pay for their gas!
