Down By the River

The guy in this photo was part of a group of hikers that stopped for a break. When I noticed his bright red daypack, I immediately grabbed my Nikon. This guy really knows how to dress for the camera! quarry-trail6.jpg Close-up of river rocks, Middle Fork of the American River, ASRA, Auburn, CA Sometimes we need to take a closer look at our environment, or try looking at it from a unique perspective. By looking down, I couldn't help but notice how beautiful these river rocks were. They looked as if they were perfectly arranged by man, but that wasn't the case. This was the work of mother nature all by herself!
